Gold Ore Collection
Do not submit the request until you have collected the maximum amount of Gold Ore. The additional Gold reward is substantial and you will miss out on it if the request is submitted prematurely.
Overview
How to Accept the Request
- Available in the Royal Capital under the Featured Requests tab.
- The request will be available for a limited time, and cannot be discarded after acceptance.
Important Notes
- The goal of the request is to find buried Gold Ore that thieves are guarding in certain Abyss location. Upon accepting the request, Arna will direct you to the correct Abyss to search, which is based on your current progression.
- After accepting the request, you can meet an Old Man in the Guild Tavern who you can pay to mark your map with a location of buried Gold Ore. This is not required, but will speed up the collection process. Every few days he will provide you with an additional locations for another payment.
- The request is completed the first time you turn it in and cannot be continued/repeated during the event period. Do not turn it in early.
- If Marianne is in your adventuring party it will increase the amount of Gold Ore you find at each location. This speeds up the time it takes to complete the request. However, her presence is not required to get the full reward.
- The Thief battles are not particularly difficult and should not require any changes to your current team.
- There are no changes to the enemies or their levels in the Abyss while the requests is active.
Guide
Search Process
- After accepting the request, go to the indicated Abyss and begin searching the correct floor (see Ore Locations). Lulunarde will inform you of the presence of the thieves when you arrive on the correct floor.
- On that floor there will be a fixed number of locations that can randomly spawn an non-mobile enemy, which will be a group of thieves. After killing the thieves you will receive a small amount of Gold Ore.
- Each time you exit the Abyss the location of the thieves will change. However, there are only a small number of fixed locations where they will respawn.
- If you paid the Old Man in the Guild Tavern, then the buried Gold Ore location will be marked on your map. Once you reach the location it will appear as a glowing, white object indicator (a "shiny") on the floor. It provides an amount of Gold Ore several times larger than the group of thieves.
- After collecting any amount of Gold Ore:
- Lulunarde will let you know it is up to you if want to search for more
- A "Request Complete" message will pop up
- At any point after this you can turn in your Gold Ore at the Guild. The size of the additional reward is based on the total collected.
- However, you do NOT want to submit the request prematurely as you will be missing out on a substantial amount of Gold (Abyss 1, $400K; Abyss 2, $600K; Abyss 3, $1M) that is given for collecting all of the Gold Ore.
- After collecting the maximum amount of Gold Ore you will receive Lulu text letting you know that you are finished. The thieves will stop appearing at the spawn locations. Return to the Royal Capital Guild and submit the request and receive the maximum additional god reward.

- There is a 2,000 Gold reward for completing the request.
- There is a substantial additional Gold reward based on the amount of Gold Ore collected. The additional reward scales with the Abyss you were assigned to search.

Abyss 2 - District 2 - Black Market
- The fastest (almost always no-combat) method is Harkening into District 2, auto-path to the two closest locations, see if any Thief spawned, then auto-exit back to the Harken. Rinse and repeat.
- Each group of thieves give 200 Gold Ore with another 100 if Marianne is present in your party. You need to collect 12,000 Gold Ore for the maximum Gold reward of $600K.
- 60 encounters without Marianne
- 40 encounters with Marianne
Abyss 3 - Zone 1 - Old Secret Passage
- The fastest farming route is to Harken into Zone 1, check the closest spot, exit, and return.
- Each group of thieves gives you 400 ore with another 200 if Marianne is present in your party. You need to collect 24,000 Gold Ore for the maximum Gold reward of $1M.
- 60 encounters without Marianne
- 40 encounters with Marianne
